Cypress Reporter for SpiraTest Now Available

Cypress IO is a user-friendly test automation tool for end to end testing, UI testing, regression suites, and integration and unit testing. It's simple to install and doesn't require any changes to your code. Cypress prides itself on writing tests quickly and in real-time as you build your web application.
We have just released a new SpiraTest custom reporter extension for Cypress that lets you execute your Cypress scripts as normal and have the results automatically reported back into SpiraTest as test runs against mapped test cases. In addition to the detailed test results, the custom reporter automatically attaches any screenshots generated by Cypress to the SpiraTest test run. Of course, the reporter works with all flavors of Spira: SpiraTest, SpiraTeam and SpiraPlan.
New Cross-Platform Microsoft Word Import Tool Available

Data migration is a pain, we all know that. However when you want to migrate from an antiquated paper-based approach to using a modern requirements and test management system like SpiraTest or ALM platform such as SpiraTeam, you have no choice, but to migrate over some of your old data. Until now, we only had a Microsoft Word import tool that ran on the Windows version of MS-Word. The big news is that we have a new importer that will work on any version of Microsoft Word 2019 or newer (Mac, PC, Linux, mobile) including the web Word365 version as well.

Spira v7.1 Released: More Flexible Source Code Integration & OctoPerf Integration

We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version (v7.1) of our award-winning test management SpiraTest system, application lifecycle management SpiraTeam platform, and enterprise agile planning platform - SpiraPlan. Cloud customers can now more easily and flexibly set up source code integration inside SpiraTeam and SpiraPlan. TaraVault is the default provider for Git or Subversion. Along with other quality of enhancements you can now, for each product, either user TaraVault or any other cloud based source code provider. This lets you pick the best provider for each product. Our latest SpiraApp integrates SpiraPlan and OctoPerf seamlessly. Kick off load testing in OctoPerf directly from SpiraPlan and the results of the test get logged against each relevant test case.
