We are excited to announce the v8.3 release of Rapise, our codeless AI-powered test automation platform. This new version promises to be a giant leap forward in autonomous test automation, with the introduction of AWS Bedrock-powered artificial intelligence using the Claude 3.5 Sonnet Large Language Model (LLM). This new AI capability includes the AI assistant we introduced in Rapise 8.2 now running on AWS as well as a completely new AI Tester and AI Robot capability that uses Anthropic Computer Use to perform automated exploratory testing and image recognition. We also have reintroduced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) using either Tesseract or Windows.

This new version includes a completed revamped time tracking system that lets users enter the time worked day by day against specific artifacts, with the time entries being recorded in a new centralized timesheet system as well as added to the running totals for the artifacts in question. This new functionality enables users of other systems such as Jira that have time tracking plugins (e.g. Tempo) to more easily migrate to the Inflectra platform.
