We just wrapped up our time at AutomationSTAR 2024 in Vienna, Austria and let us tell you—it was an amazing experience! This year, we were beyond excited to introduce two of our newest innovations: GenAI capabilities in Rapise and SpiraPlan. These aren’t just any tools—they’re the future of test automation and project management, powered by some seriously cool AI tech. Not only did we showcase some seriously cool tech, but we also brought our fun-loving attitude (and some sweet swag) to the event!
We continue to believe in helping teams work smarter, not harder. And at AutomationSTAR, we got to show how our tools are doing just that. So, if you weren’t able to join us in Vienna, no worries—we’ve got all the highlights right here!
Rapise and SpiraPlan AI: A Game-Changing Inflectra Platform
Both Rapise and SpiraPlan leverage AI to make life easier for testers and project managers. With Rapise ( now in its v8), you can automate tests using natural language commands, letting even non-technical users create test scripts easily. The tool’s AI-generated scripts save time and reduce manual errors, while its real-time error detection spots issues and suggests fixes instantly during test runs.
Meanwhile, SpiraPlan brings a whole new level of intelligence to project management. It provides productivity gains for QA teams, while automated risk detection helps teams mitigate problems early. Additionally, AI-based task prioritization ensures teams focus on the most critical tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
Together, these tools simplify workflows, improve accuracy, and help teams deliver better results faster.
But it wasn’t all tech talk—oh no, we made sure everyone left our booth with a smile (and some cool goodies)! Our booth was the spot for grabbing some of the best swag at the event.
Beyond the swag, we had so much fun connecting with the community. We’re all about bringing good vibes, so whether people came by for the tech, swag or just for a chat, we were happy to meet so many automation fans. We’re pretty sure some of you stopped by more than once but we won’t name names, (but you know who you are 😉).

Overall, AutomationSTAR 2024 was a fantastic experience for us. We got to show off Rapise and SpiraPlan AI, share some laughs, and give away plenty of swag.
