Like many companies that have been around for many years (we are celebrating our 19th year in business), we have employees with us from many different generations. During conference travel, work trips and happy hours after work we realized that the different generations use different terms and phrases and sometimes even the same word can mean different things. For example, the phrase "out of pocket" means something complete different to Generation Z than Generation X or Millennials. Similarly, on recent trips, GenZ team members would often use phrases like "slaps", "rizz", or "drip" that had other generations a bit nonplussed. Therefore to streamline such communication and improve inter-generational collaboration, we have released a new SpiraApp that helps different generations work together. We call this our GenZ-Arator application.
Introducing the GenZ-Arator
This new SpiraApp installs into your instance of Spira and with a single click on the requirements detail page, converts the name and description of your requirement into a version that is more comfortable for your GenZ team mates:
Or as they would probably say - This new SpiraApp is straight fire, it's gonna hook you up real quick. You just gotta install it on your Spira, and then boom, you can click on the req details page and it'll transform that stuff into something your fellow Gen Z homies can vibe with, ya feel me? No more of that boring, stuffy language - this app's gonna make it lit for your whole squad. It's a total game-changer, trust me on this one.
Harnessing the Power of Generative AI
This new SpiraApp leverages our partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and their AWS Bedrock platform. The SpiraApp can be used with any of the LLM families available in Bedrock, including Nova, Claude and Llama.
Seeing It In Action
You can use this SpiraApp for simple functional requirements, like the one illustrated above, or even for more complicated IT modernization projects like migrating your database from SQL Server to something more cloud-native:
With the GenZ-Arator SpiraApp, you can even ask it to generate multiple versions of the translation, to see which one feels the most natural:
Since Inflectra always cares about quality, we had some of our GenZ team members take a look at the output and give their verdict:
