Aaron Athfield is the Director of Ceefa Software. Aaron was 13 when his high school purchased their very first PC, and almost all of the 1200 students put their name in the hat for the exciting new computer course. His was one of the lucky 10 names to be drawn - setting in motion a lifetime love for software and a vibrant 35 year career. The journey from development through testing and into high-end test-automation gave him insights that he felt compelled to share – leading to many years of coaching, training, workshops and seminars in the banking, finance, energy, airline, and government sectors across New Zealand and Australia. Aaron is the founding director of Ceefa Software – a New Zealand company with a mission to save the world from the widening gap between slow manual and faster automated testing that we keep falling into.
