AI is changing the educational landscape. As AI technology becomes more widely used, educators are confronted with the ethical challenge of how to use this technology appropriately, as it can be used for both good and bad. On the one hand, AI can be used to help students learn more quickly and efficiently by providing personalized instruction and feedback, optimizing teaching materials and assessment procedures, and identifying at-risk students who may need extra help. On the other hand, there are serious concerns about the ethical implications of AI in the educational sphere. For example, AI could lead to a narrowing of the curriculum, with less emphasis on creativity and critical thinking. There are also concerns about the impact that biased and opaque algorithmic systems can have on the fairness and accuracy of assessment outcomes.
