Enhanced Source Code Management
In Spira v6.7, we have separated out the source code management screens from the main Tracking menu. Previously all of the source code functionality was buried under the single Source Code menu entry, when in fact, Spira offers several different key views. In line with how the Testing menu gives single-click access to the test cases, test sets, test runs, automation, and test configurations, the new Developing menu gives developers single-click access to the Source Code Files and Source Code Commits. Integrated Source Code Difference Viewing
As part of the revamp of the Spira source code management module, there is now a native code difference viewing capability in Spira. This lets you compare the changes between two revisions of each file and see the changes in either a side-by-side or unified DIFF view. Using easy to understand color coding, you can see which lines have been added, removed, and changed between the revisions, as well as see the individual changes in each line. Learn More.
Markdown Preview & Rendering Capability
A key area of focus in this new release is improving the experience and functionality for developers and development teams. With that in mind, we have revamped the source code management and documents management module, and for the first time, there is now a way to view rendered markdown files directly in Spira in both modules.
