About Salesforce
Salesforce (aka Salesforce.com) is a cloud computing service as a software (SaaS) company that specializes in customer relationship management (CRM). Salesforce's services allow businesses to use cloud technology to better connect with customers, partners, and potential customers. The software has become the number one for customer success and helps businesses track customer activity, market to customers, and many more services.
Spira Integration with Salesforce
Many of our customers have been looking for our SpiraTeam application lifecycle management (ALM) suite to integrate with Salesforce to provide an end to end application and IT lifecycle capability.
Our new integration with Salesforce will synchronize changes from different Salesforce objects with Incidents and Requirements in our Spira platform (SpiraTest, SpiraTeam, or SpiraPlan):
How Does it Work?
You can select a Salesforce object to sync with Incidents and another Salesforce object to sync with Requirements in Spira. To map to different projects in Spira, you will also need to designate a relevant field in each of the Salesforce objects.
The Salesforce Data Sync will sync name, status, priority/importance, description, owner, author, and any desired custom fields between the two systems.
New Incidents/Requirements created in Spira will be created in the appropriate Salesforce object.
In addition, new items created in the designated Salesforce objects will be created in Spira, and any changes after that will be synced with its counterpart in Spira.
With our new DataSync for Salesforce.com, you can just worry about solving your issue, and we’ll handle the rest!
You can get the new plugin from the Downloads section of our website:
