What's In The Latest Version?
We recently released updates to Spira that allow you to have a test set in one product that also includes test cases from other products. This feature is great for end-to-end testing where you need to potentially test a business process that spans multiple different products and systems. However, a limitation in RemoteLaunch prevented it from executing an automated test set that contained test cases from other products.
The new version of RemoteLaunch can now schedule and execute an automated test set from one Spira product that includes test cases from other related products.
In addition, we added support for Single Sign On (SSO) using OAuth / OpenID Connect several years ago in the v6.4 release of Spira. For RemoteLaunch users, it was not possible to use an SSO user as the authorized Spira user in the connection settings.
With the latest RemoteLaunch update, you can now use an SSO user and API Key instead of a password.
Where Do I Get the New Version?
You can download the latest (v6.0.4.0) version of RemoteLaunch from the secure Inflectra Customer Area on our website. You will find the latest executable and license keys ready for use.
