23-Jan-2024 by Adam Sandman Product News

At Inflectra, we're dedicated to innovating and evolving our products to meet and exceed your evolving needs. The fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are transforming how we design, develop and most importantly test software. Consequently, as outlined in our company plans for AI/ML, the Rapise roadmap features a large amount of Generative AI, as well as other forms of AI/ML. In addition, there is our continual effort to simplify the testing of complex enterprise applications and streamline the creation of reusable testing frameworks.

Version 8.2 (Q2 2024)

  • AI: Generate data to use for Data-Driven Testing using Generative AI.
    • Example: generate 10 fake company names
    • Example: generate more data lines for this spreadsheet

  • AI: AI(text) command in RVL to perform actions based on high level text descriptions.
    • Example: log into the Library Information System with username librarian and password librarian
    • Example: open Books section

2024 Roadmap

  • We will continue to work on deep integration between Rapise, Spira and Git.
    • The focus is on simplicity of building test frameworks and execution of tests.
  • Also as usual we will keep up-to-date our support for selected CRM/ERP systems:
    • Microsoft Dynamics family of products
    • Salesforce
    • Oracle
    • SAP.
  • We are also going to expand our AI research and equip Rapise with AI-based features.
    • These features will help in areas such as:
      • test data generation
      • test case creation
      • code generation
      • manual test conversion
      • UI element recognition
      • framework management.

We are committed to delivering these features as we build our software solutions that prioritize our users’ needs. Expect these enhancements to be rolled out as promised in line with our consistent quarterly feature release cycle.

We hope you can be part of our journey of continuous improvement so you can build the software of your dreams better, faster, and with lower risk.
