What are Inflectra SpiraApps?
SpiraApps, Inflectra’s plugin extensibility framework, allows users to customize Spira and extend the platform’s core functionality to match their exact needs. The Spira platform is an integrated solution by Inflectra for companies that need to develop, test, and deliver critical software for various industries using different methodologies. To navigate this reality, Inflectra recently launched its own SpiraApps marketplace opening up its add-ons ecosystem to third-party developers.
Quick Links SpiraApp by MVerve
The Quick Links SpiraApp was conceived in response to a specific customer request for enhanced customization capabilities within the Spira platform. The customer sought to add custom reports or graphs directly to their product-specific home page. Although Spira does not currently support adding such widgets, our partner identified an opportunity to meet this need by developing a SpiraApp that allows users to add hyperlinks to these reports or graphs. After positive feedback from both the customer and Inflectra, the Quick Links SpiraApp was developed to address this requirement.
The Quick Links SpiraApp by MVerve enhances navigation and productivity by offering quick access to frequently used links. Once this SpiraApp widget is activated, admins can add quick links to users' My Page and Product Home page, allowing quick access to key internal reports, wikis, or other important documents.
