Synchronize Your Testing with Visual Studio Team Services in the Cloud

28-Feb-2017 by Adam Sandman Product News

We are pleased to announce the release of our plugin for Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services and Microsoft Team Foundation Server into the SpiraTest data synchronization cloud service. This means that cloud users of SpiraTest can integrate with Microsoft Azure based Team Services instances on-demand.

What's New?

Previously to use Microsoft Team Services with SpiraTest, SpiraPlan or SpiraTeam, you had to install a plugin on your local environment to enable the integration. With the move to DevOps and cloud-based application lifecycle management (ALM) we are pleased to provide a completely cloud-based data-synchronization solution for integrating Inflectra's ALM suite with Microsoft Team Services:

with this new plugin your teams can do requirements management, agile planning and test management in SpiraTeam whilst having the development team work seamlessly in Visual Studio Team Services:

With our cloud-based plugin, you can create requirements in Visual Studio and have them flow seamlessly into SpiraTeam, you can create defects in either system and have them bidirectionally synchronize during testing and you can have development tasks created in SpiraTeam flow into Visual Studio as developer work items.
