We are using the smtp.office365.com for sending emails from SpiraTeam installed on-premise. We have to support emails to company internal users and external customers.
There are some limitations by Microsoft (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/send-emails/smtp-submission-improvements) using their SMTP service.
Is there a way to configure the number of concurrent SMTP connections SpiraTeam can use at a time?
It seems that messages get lost, when this error occur.
There is the same problem when you use Google Workspace as well, both Office365 and G Workspace don't allow their email accounts to be used as a bulk mailer. SpiraTeam does not have a way to limit the number of emails, so I would either cut down on the number of notifications in use, or switch to system dedicated to sending bulk emails. For example you can use a free mail server such as hMail or Amazon SES if using a cloud platform.
