email notifications on a custom property

I created a custom property and want to trigger an email based off of the value selected in this field.
When I go to create a notification event, I do not see the custom property listed in the Artifact fields.
Are you able to create email notifications from a custom property?

Hi Kathryn

It is not currently possible to trigger an email notification from custom property changes.

However it is planned for a future release of SpiraTest.
