Hello Spira support,
Many thanks to your product.
We have a situation, where in some projects we are storing TestSets that should consists of TestCases from different other projects as an evidence of integrational testing (full-flow testing or End-to-End testing).
Looks like Spira is very close to be able to do it as there is a column "Product" at a screen, where TestCases are added, but something goes wrong:
It is not supported at present.
Thanks, David!
Will it be supported in the future? It is important for us to understand Spira's capabilities as we under FDA and we need to provide also integration test evidences or full-flow evidences (one electronically signed entity).
Moreover it doesn't look difficult as all testcases already have unique ID in Spira, so no problems to adress them in Spira.
The problem is really around permissions and user expectations.
An authorized user in project 1 would be able to change a test case that would be used by someone in project 2 if the test case in project 1 was included in a test set in project 2.
Generally we try and avoid data in one project impacting another one.
Permissions is a responsibility of end-users. So it is their mistake if they link but don't grant permissions.
Having no links between projects it is impossible as in a real organization. So, why not to allow such case?
