Hello,
I am currently using SpiraTest for managing our test cases and execution statuses. By default, we have the standard execution statuses such as Passed, Failed, Blocked, and Caution. However, I would like to add additional custom execution statuses like “Invalid” and “Out of Scope” to better fit our testing needs.
I have checked the administration and custom properties sections, but I couldn’t find an option to add or modify execution statuses. Is there a way to customize the execution statuses in SpiraTest? If not, are there any recommended workarounds or best practices for tracking these additional statuses?
Thank you for your assistance!
Hi Larsnjewel
You cannot customize the execution statuses in SpiraTest. However we already have a status N/A that is meant for the two cases you mention - Invalid / Out of Scope.
You can customize the test case types and priorities (and add user defined fields), just not the execution statuses.

David
