Test Sets Executing Simulatiously

We have recently re-organized our automated test cases from a single test set to multiple test sets.  We have them scheduled to execute 20 minutes apart but it appears that if one doesn't finish before the next test set is scheduled to run, they try to run at the same time.  This is causing most of our test cases to be blocked.  The error message we are receiving on these blocked test cases is:

The process cannot access the file 'console.log' because it is being used by another process.

How do we configure RemoteLaunch/SpiraTest so that test sets only execute when no other test is running?

Please try unchecking the box to run 'overdue' test sets.

If this box is unchecked, when will these overdue test sets get executed?  We have our test sets scheduled for daily execution so we would want to wait until the next scheduled test run.

We are seeing a similar issue with test sets being run simultaneously. If we uncheck the "Automatically run tests that are overdue" check box, what does that mean for overdue test sets? Will they get run or do they have to wait until their next scheduled run time?
