I just signed in to SpiraTest today and noticed the upgrade to 5.0. With the new folder structure, it appears that folders and test cases are sorted alphanumerically by name. The user's chosen sort order seems no longer preserved, and I can no longer drag/drop folders and test cases (within those folders) to be in a specified order. Is there some way to do this in the new version?

Hi Mindy I would recommend you take a look at this article - https://www.inflectra.com/Ideas/Entry/374.aspx that explains the changes to the folder structure. The folders and contents are now sortable by any of the fields instead of being positioned by hand. Regards Adam

Hi Adam, Our version was upgraded over the weekend, without any notice. I read the link you provided, and while the link explains WHY Inflectra changed the folder structure, I could not find any information to on how to preserve the original sort order. We have thousands of test cases, folders, and sub folders that are now not in any logical order because of this change. To try and find the original order of each folder, sub folder and test case will take our company countless hours to arrange back to a order that makes sense for testing. Again, I'll ask the same question Mindy asked; how do we preserve the original chosen sort order for our test cases and folders in version 5.0?
