I'm running some UFT test cases from Spira: - setting UFT as Automation Engine - setting in FileName parameter the path to the test case to run (ie, "C:\UFT_Test\TestDemo"). This test case works without any issue. From Spira, I'd like to pass a parameter to this test case, ie ParameterValue1. Is it possible to do so? is there a way to retrieve this parameter from UFT script? You use the normal Spira parameters that you define on the test case and set values in the test set. These map to the standard UFT test (not action) "Input Parameters" that are available in a test script. To retrieve them in UFT, use the TestArgs object within your script, for example: val = TestArgs(ParameterValue1).
