OctoPerf provides a full-online experience to design, run, and analyze load testing scenarios. Octoperf creates instances on a public Cloud using Amazon EC2 and Digital Ocean. These cloud instances report the test results back to OctoPerf in real-time. Users can then analyze testing results live, as they are being collected.

Using SpiraPlan with OctoPerf

This integration works by showing SpiraPlan users a simple button that automatically launches the relevant OctoPerf test scenario. Once the test has completed, OctoPerf immediately informs SpiraPlan, where the results are logged in a new test run against the test case. What is Eggplant Digital Automation Intelligence (DAI)?

Eggplant leverages AI to automate the entire testing lifecycle and enables organizations to test their software and applications from the customer viewpoint. Eggplant Digital Automation Intelligence (DAI) is a functional test automation system that now includes a command-line tool to remotely trigger automated tests.

Using SpiraPlan and RemoteLaunch with Eggplant DAI

With this new integration, you can use SpiraTest, SpiraTeam, or SpiraPlan together with RemoteLaunch to schedule and remotely launch Eggplant DAI tests and save the results directly in SpiraPlan. This enables you to extend the management capabilities of SpiraPlan to include automation.

Rapise 6.3 comes with a new web library dedicated to testing SAP UI5. This provides support for the SAP UI5 (Fiori) platform itself, plus any other non-SAP applications that are using the same OpenUI5 web toolkit.

When customers try and test SAP applications using just open source tools such as Selenium or many other testing tools not specifically designed for SAP, the results are pretty poor. This is because the SAP user interface is sophisticated and uses dynamic elements, hidden layers and other elements that make testing by hand quite challenging. The dedicated support in Rapise makes this much easier. Pages that would take several days to automate by hand using Selenium can be created in Rapise in less than an hour.

Inflectra partners with nFocus Ltd. to provide on-site consulting and training for its customers

nFocus will be offering Inflectra products to all its existing customers for test management purposes. The company will also offer Inflectra’s products to other organisations that are currently undertaking software development and testing. Through the agreement nFocus will sell and support Inflectra’s products including SpiraTest, a highly cost effective Quality Assurance and Test Management system with integrated release scheduling and defect tracking.

By partnering with Inflectra, nFocus is adding to its existing portfolio of software testing services, from test consultancy, test automation, regression testing to the use of best-of-breed technologies and innovative test management processes to improve the reliability and performance of software systems.
